🚀 About the Project: Career Advice Bot 💡 Inspiration
Choosing the right career path can be confusing and stressful — especially with so many opportunities and changing job markets. I wanted to create an AI-powered assistant that could guide people with personalized career advice, helping them identify their strengths, explore roles, and make confident decisions about their future.
🧠 What It Does
Career Advice Bot is your AI career coach — it provides personalized guidance based on your interests, skills, and goals. It helps users with:
Career path suggestions
Resume and LinkedIn tips
Interview preparation advice
Skill-building recommendations
🛠️ How I Built It
I built the project using the Lovable.ai platform to quickly prototype the user experience and design. The bot uses AI prompt engineering to analyze user input and generate relevant, actionable advice. Key tools & technologies used:
Lovable.ai for UI & deployment
OpenAI GPT-based model for AI responses
Markdown + HTML for formatting replies
Custom prompt tuning for better personalization
💪 Challenges I Faced
Crafting effective prompts that generate specific, useful, and context-aware advice.
Maintaining a professional and friendly tone in all AI responses.
Designing a clean and minimal user interface consistent with modern design principles (inspired by Apple’s design system).
Ensuring the advice feels human-like and motivational, not robotic.
📚 What I Learned
Through this project, I learned how to:
Use AI prompt design strategically to shape user experience.
Combine UX design and AI functionality for real-world value.
Improve my understanding of career development frameworks and AI-driven personalization.
🌟 Future Improvements
Integrate real-time job data and skill assessments.
Add user profiles and progress tracking.
Implement a reward system for learning milestones.
