Inspiration

Patients often struggle to understand complex, jargon-heavy medical reports and lab results. Misinterpreting medication instructions or dosages leads to missed doses and health risks, especially for elderly patients and non-native English speakers.

What it does

CareDecode is an AI-powered medical report simplifier that:

1. Accepts photos or PDFs of medical prescriptions and lab reports.
2. Uses Gemini AI to parse clinical text and convert complex medical jargon into simple, daily action plans.
3. Automatically generates medication schedules and sends automated reminders via WhatsApp/SMS.
