Inspiration: When we thought about the many problems in the world and society, we thought about how it was hard to receive advice for illnesses. We wanted to make an app that can quickly give possible illnesses that our user has contracted.

What it does: Our website allows users to get quick advice on how to provide comfort or guides on how to use treatments like honey or tea. Keep in mind, this app is NOT used to prescribe medication/drugs.

How we built it: We built it using HTML, Python, and react-native, and used Orphadata as our API.

Challenges: We faced some challenges, like finding an API. We needed an API with multiple symptoms and diseases associated with it. Thankfully, after a lot of searching, we found the Orphadata API, which was free and easy to use.

Accomplishments: Some accomplishments were creating the idea for this website and also finding and utilizing a proper API. These were one of the toughest parts of this assignment, and we are proud that we got past these obstacles.

What we learned: We learned a lot of things related to coding. We learned how to install and use an API to model the website and develop a proper UI for our users.

What’s Next: We plan on making more accurate results, and providing more information to user on what they are experiencing, and trying to solve their problems.
