Inspiration

We built Threads AI Voice Reminder & Warranty to make everyday task management easier and smarter. People often forget important tasks, reminders, and product warranty expiration dates. We wanted to create a simple assistant that helps users stay organized and manage these responsibilities in one place.

What It Does

Threads AI is a smart assistant designed to help users manage reminders and keep track of product warranties. It aims to simplify daily planning through a user-friendly interface and voice-oriented interactions.

Key goals include:

Creating and managing reminders.
Tracking product warranty information and expiration dates.
Making everyday task management easier.
Providing a simple, accessible experience for users.

How We Built It

We developed the project using web technologies and a Node.js backend. The application separates its user interface from server-side functionality, allowing the frontend to communicate with the backend to process requests and manage application features.

We used Git and GitHub for version control and are preparing the project for deployment so it can be accessed online.

Challenges We Faced

One of our main challenges was configuring the development environment and ensuring that the application runs correctly. We also worked through Git setup and repository management while preparing the project for deployment. Another important consideration is making sure that reminders and warranty information can be stored reliably when the application runs in a cloud environment.

What We Learned

Through this project, we gained practical experience in web application development, backend integration, version control, debugging, and deployment preparation. We also learned that building a reliable assistant requires more than a working interface: backend functionality, secure configuration, and dependable data storage are equally important.

What's Next

Our next steps are to complete the cloud deployment, verify that the application works correctly outside the local development environment, and improve the reliability of reminder management and warranty tracking.
