Inspiration

Family health management is fragmented and stressful. Caregivers struggle to track the health of multiple loved ones, and critical health changes are often missed. We wanted to create a unified platform that makes it easy for families to check in on each other's wellbeing and coordinate care with confidence and clarity.

What it does

CareCircle is a family health coordination platform featuring:

  • 30-second voice check-ins: Quick daily wellness check-ins through voice recording
  • Drift alerts with confidence scoring: AI-powered detection of health changes with confidence metrics to reduce false alarms
  • Auto-assigned care actions: Intelligent system that automatically suggests and assigns follow-up actions with clear rationale
  • Shared care coordination: Central hub for families to coordinate care tasks and health information

Supports three key scenarios:

  • Caring for an adult (daily check-ins, coordinated actions)
  • Caring for a child (fever, meds, school notes tracking)
  • Post-surgery recovery (follow-ups for 2-6 weeks)

How we built it

Frontend: React.js with responsive design Backend: Node.js/Express with PostgreSQL AI/ML: Deepgram for voice processing, Claude API for health analysis Voice Recognition: Real-time transcription and sentiment analysis Cloud Hosting: Replit for rapid deployment
