Inspiration Caregiving for elderly or recovering family members is often chaotic, fragmented, and emotionally draining. Families struggle with messy text threads, missed medication schedules, and uncoordinated responsibilities. We were inspired to build CareCircle to eliminate this friction, bringing families together on a single, intuitive platform to streamline home healthcare, task delegation, and daily care coordination.
What it does CareCircle is a collaborative family caregiving and task delegation web application. It features:
Centralized Patient Dashboard: An overview of primary conditions, vital details, emergency contacts, and active metrics.
Task Delegation & Tracking: Assigns daily medical and personal tasks (like prescription refills or transport) with priority flags and clear assignees.
Contextual Scheduling: Tracks upcoming visits, appointments, and care logs.
Interactive Voice/NLP Assistant: Enables hands-free task logging and reminders using an integrated voice assistant interface.
How we built it Frontend: Developed using React and Vite for blazing-fast performance, modular component architecture, and a modern UI.
UI & Styling: Built with responsive layout components designed for real-time tracking, clear task status visibility, and urgency indicators.
Deployment & CI/CD: Hosted live on Vercel with seamless GitHub repository integration for instant production deployment.
Challenges we ran into Designing an intuitive multi-user task delegation workflow that keeps everyone on the same page without cluttering the interface.
Configuring git branch structures and resolving terminal constraints to ensure a smooth, automated deployment pipeline on Vercel right before the deadline.
