Inspiration
CareCircle AI was inspired by the need for a simple digital companion that helps people stay organized, remember important tasks, and manage everyday routines. Many people struggle to keep track of reminders and daily responsibilities, so we wanted to build a user-friendly experience that makes these activities easier.
What it does
CareCircle AI is a browser-based prototype of an AI-powered care companion. It provides an interactive interface for managing daily tasks, creating reminders, and exploring simple smart-home-style controls. The goal is to make everyday assistance accessible through a straightforward and friendly experience.
How we built it
We developed a lightweight web application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The prototype brings together its user interface and interactive features in one application. Users can explore task management, reminder creation, task completion, and a simulated light-control feature.
Challenges we faced
One challenge was designing an interface that remains simple while bringing several everyday assistance features together. We also needed to distinguish working prototype features from integrations that would require external services, authentication, or connected devices.
What we learned
Building CareCircle AI helped us understand the importance of user-centered design, interactive web development, and clearly defined project scope. We also learned that a useful prototype is a starting point for testing ideas before introducing more complex AI and cloud integrations.
What's next
Future improvements could include a conversational AI assistant, voice-based commands, secure user accounts, cloud-synchronized reminders, and integration with supported smart-home devices.
