Inspiration
During my last summer, I went to Humla, a remote village in Nepal. People don't have access to road (airway is the only transporation) but they have access to the mobile phone. If we can provide a personalized health assistance from mobile, we can provide health assistance to places where people don't have access to road. This idea inspired me to create the project.
What it does
It provides personalized solutions to the health problems people face.
How I built it
I have used Next.Js to create the application and integrated OpenAI API to answer to the queries of the people.
Challenges we ran into
This was the first time I used OpenAI API in any platform. So, finding my way through it was quite hard.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am proud of myself for creating this platform from scratch in this short span of time. I got to learn a lot during this hackathon.
What we learned
I learned to integrate the OpenAI API to my platform.
What's next for Carechat
For Carechat, I have plan to integrate Comupter vision in the application, so people can just click photo of their physical wound or infection and get personalized advice for it. I also have in mind to integrate natural language process for non-English and English speakers.
