Inspiration
Health information is often difficult to understand, especially when people are trying to decide what to do next or prepare for a conversation with a healthcare professional. CareBridge was created as a simple, accessible starting point for clearer health education.
What it does
CareBridge organizes common health-education content into a calm, easy-to-navigate experience. It helps users review practical guidance, prepare questions, and identify sensible next steps while keeping the experience educational rather than diagnostic.
Key features
- Clear health-education content organized for quick understanding.
- Accessible navigation for people who may feel overwhelmed by medical information.
- Practical prompts that help users prepare questions and follow-up actions.
- A lightweight static prototype that can be shared and extended easily.
How we built it
CareBridge is a static web prototype built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Its source code and project brief are available in the public repository, and a short walkthrough demonstrates the real application screens.
Responsible use
CareBridge is an educational prototype, not a medical diagnosis tool or substitute for professional care. Its purpose is to make information easier to approach and help users prepare for appropriate human support.
What we learned
Accessible healthcare experiences should reduce confusion without pretending to replace clinicians. Clear structure, plain language, and visible next steps can make health information more useful.
What's next
Future versions could add multilingual content, accessibility improvements, clinician-reviewed resources, and carefully evaluated assistance features with strong safety boundaries.
