Our Write UP - CAreal

With the advent of technology in the 21st century, there is a boom in tech industries creating jobs that many never knew about. Aspiring techies like us inspire to work in the tech industry one day. However, the plethora of choices makes it hard for us to determine what job would be suitable and of interest.

Our solution, CAreal. CAreal provides user with information of jobs in tech industry that they can look into with the goal of providing a fun and engaging experience while also discovering their potential career path. For every job featured, CAreal offers the user a wide variety of simulation which include games and first-hand advice from people currently working in the field.

CAreal is also inspired by the MBTI personality test. Through answering a series of questions, we hope to provide users with suggestions of jobs that they may be suitable for. Based on our suggestions, users can navigate through our websites to learn more.

Long-term, CAreal hopes to collaborate with tech companies giving users internship opportunities. This gives them an opportunity to explore and reaffirm their career choices. CAreal’s goal is to become the bridge between aspiring techies and the working world to provide convenience, accessibility of information and opportunities all within a webpage!
