Inspiration: People often get home and forget what their doctor told them. We wanted recovery to come with less confusion and less to remember.
What it does: Keeps care instructions, daily tasks, medication reports, check-ins and progress summaries together, with a personalized chat companion.
How we built it: React and TypeScript for the frontend, Supabase for the backend, and GSAP plus React Bits for animations.
Challenges: Coordinating four teammates, keeping the interface simple, and making sure the companion stays grounded in provided instructions.
Accomplishments: A polished patient-first interface, fullscreen chat, accessible motion and passing tests.
What we learned: Clear communication and thoughtful design matter as much as adding features, especially when people are recovering.
