Inspiration

This health crisis has highlighted the importance of adequate psychological support in the community to preserve the mental health of the population. To get answers and calm down, people call, search online, and navigate in a variety of ways. The crisis has shown that psychological support services have to move online to make it easy to use.

What it does

Offers one stop solution for different psychological challenges. The platform will offer several services: a database of experts who can provide the service in their field of expertise (video, audio, chat) ; common questions and answers in written and chatbot format; a database of tips and self-care solutions.

How I built it

With the team of different backgrounds - psychologists, business development, marketing professionals, preschool carers, web development professionals.

Challenges I ran into

How to convince professionals to became members of the online community and use the platform. How to make it scalable in Europe where people speak many different languages, have local differences and people feel stigmatised when in a need for a psychological support.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We just have started and did an amazing job over the weekend as the result of previous experience with similar content and web development.

What's next for CARE CALL

Further development of AR assistant. Content development. Support from institutions. Engagement of new team members. Cooperation with similar initiatives to create sustainable solution.
