Inspiration

The inspiration behind CardioFuse-3D came from the idea of combining multimodal AI with cardiovascular health to make complex medical information easier to understand. We wanted to explore how artificial intelligence and interactive 3D visualization could work together to create a more engaging and accessible way to learn about the human heart. Our vision is to bridge the gap between complex cardiovascular information and user-friendly technology.

What it does

CardioFuse-3D is a web-based project focused on cardiovascular health and interactive heart visualization. It aims to provide an engaging experience through 3D visualization and AI-powered capabilities, helping users explore heart-related information in a more intuitive way. The project demonstrates how multimodal AI can contribute to making health information more accessible and understandable.

How we built it

We built CardioFuse-3D as a web application and deployed it using Vercel. The project brings together a web-based user interface, interactive visualization, and AI-related functionality. Our development process focused on creating an accessible interface and exploring how AI and 3D technology can complement each other. The specific frameworks, libraries, and AI models used are documented in our technical implementation.

Challenges we ran into

One of our main challenges was bringing together the visual experience and AI functionality in a single application. We also had to consider usability, responsive design, and how to present complex health-related information in a clear and understandable manner. Balancing an engaging 3D experience with the practical requirements of a functional web application was an important part of the development process.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have developed and deployed CardioFuse-3D as a working web project. We are especially proud of the idea of combining cardiovascular health exploration with interactive 3D visualization and the potential of multimodal AI. This project represents our effort to explore innovative ways of making technology more accessible and meaningful in the healthcare domain.

What we learned

Through this project, we gained experience in web application development, deployment, user experience design, and the challenges of integrating AI-related capabilities into an application. We also learned that building a meaningful multimodal AI solution requires more than an attractive interface: it requires thoughtful integration of different data types, clear explanations, and responsible handling of health-related information.

What's next for CardioFuse-3D

Our future plans include expanding multimodal AI capabilities, improving interactive 3D heart visualization, and exploring ways to incorporate different types of cardiovascular information into a unified experience. We also aim to improve accessibility, provide clearer AI-generated explanations, strengthen privacy and reliability, and evaluate future features carefully before using them for health-related decisions.
