Inspiration

I have always wanted to contribute in some medical field, but i knew biology isnt my thing, but last month i got to know about this hackathon and i have never participated in any hackathon before (i am only 19yr old), so i thought i could make something and then i started reasearching on various topics and saw some ecg denoising articles and i decieded to make this "cadioclean"

What it does

it cleans the noised ecg graphs and removes all the noises

How I built it

i made a 4-stage signal recovery pipeline using python that removes the noise without blunting the vital feartures of the heart.

Challenges I ran into

peak preservation, and i made some mathematically errors in some formulas and then had to redo them, it was titring. (I made this solo) and i that was hard, as i am a beginner in coding world and i had to spent long time to read and understand the scipy documentations :(

Accomplishments that I'am proud of

I made something that will help someone in the future (When i make the final version of this) and when i think of that, i feel proud :)

What I learned

I have learned a lot, really. Like i got to know the math behind it, and writing the code and learing about signal processing was really awesome!!!

What's next for CardioClean

My goal is for caridoclean to become the invisible software layer in every low cost medical device, ensuring that a patient's geography never determines the quatlity of their diagnosis.

The next step for cadioclean would be to port the python based pipeline to c++ as it will allow cardioclean to run nativelt on ultra low power devices like smart patches or some cheap sensor I plan to partner with healtcare NGOs to pilot cardioclean in clincics and providing them plug and play raspberry pi interface.

Note on tooling

The entire project code and the logic, implementations is been written by me alone. AI has been only used for documentation, and for researching about the topics and some libraries, and for the ai generated voice in my project demo as i didn't get the time to record.
