Inspiration

Inspired by MIT's ornithopter capable of both swimming and flying, the original idea was to make an ornithopter. Then the idea developed to have a camera with facial recognition like it's a crow which has excellent memory. Sadly, that idea never went to flight due to the lack of experience with flight controllers. Instead, we opted to use the same components and make a drone instead. Since we lacked a lot of resources like the drone's body, we used cardboard instead.

What it does

Makes people sad.

How we built it

We built it with cardboard, an f405 flight controller, an hglrc 4in1 ESC, wires, a 3S Lipo battery, brushless and motors

Challenges we ran into

We struggled with building the ornithopter so we had to switch ideas mid way.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

At least it kind of looks like a drone.

What we learned

Solder sucks and don't do it indoors.

What's next for cardboard drone

The trash can(post scrapping process).
