Inspiration

Our inspiration for this project came from our passion for blockchain technology and gaming. We wanted to create a unique gaming experience that leverages the benefits of blockchain, such as tokenization and decentralized ownership.

What It Does

Our project is a blockchain-based card match game where players can earn and collect non-fungible tokens (NFTs) by finding matching pairs. Each tile in the game corresponds to a unique NFT, allowing players to keep their collected tokens forever on the blockchain. These tokens can be traded, sold, or kept as valuable digital collectibles.

How We Built It

We built our project using a tech stack that includes Node.js for the backend, React for the frontend, and the Truffle framework for writing smart contracts. We used MetaMask for wallet integration and Ganache for local blockchain testing. Visual Studio Code was our primary IDE for development.

Challenges We Ran Into

One of the main challenges we faced was integrating the NFT functionality seamlessly into the game mechanics. Ensuring secure token transfers and maintaining token ownership records on the blockchain required careful planning and implementation.

Accomplishments That We're Proud Of

We're proud of successfully implementing the NFT system within our game, allowing players to earn, collect, and trade tokens securely on the blockchain. Additionally, creating an engaging user interface with React and integrating MetaMask for wallet management were significant accomplishments.

What We Learned

Through this project, we learned a lot about blockchain development, NFTs, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps). We gained hands-on experience with tools like Truffle, MetaMask, and Ganache, enhancing our skills in blockchain technology.

What's Next for Untitled

In the future, we plan to expand our game by adding more features such as leaderboards, tournaments, and additional token types. We also aim to collaborate with artists and creators to design unique token artwork and explore partnerships with blockchain marketplaces for token trading.
