Our app uses computer vision and ML to analyze live blackjack games, providing real-time recommendations on the best moves—hit, stand, split, or double down—based on optimal strategy for better play. We originally wanted to use Spectacles as our platform and create an AR experience. Due to the technical limitations of the glasses we decided to create a website and use the webcam as the video feed. We believe that this website serves as our proof of concept for our original idea. We used popular technologies such as React and NodeJS to build our front and back end. We also used the Roboflow API to analyze the playing cards. Since we did not have enough time to write our own blackjack strategy bot, we used an API for that as well. In the future, we would like to adapt this to the Snapchat Spectacles, so that the user can receive real time information to their spectacles. We would also like to expand this app to other card games, our first priority would be poker.
