There are typical card games like Go Fish and Texas Hold'em and there are fun smart phone apps like SnapChat and Words With Friends, but there aren't many games that use physical cards and a smartphone. The QR Master incorporates both elements to make it a more interactive setting between friends while using technology. During the game, players answer difficult questions about themselves and their friends/peers, and as a result, everyone will get to know each other better.

We wanted to not only design an app but also utilize 3D printing technology, so we came up with the idea to have an app that had a QR code scanner and 3D print a smart phone/card deck holder. The QR codes would be on different cards with questions that would be read out loud by the smartphone. The questions are randomized to make it interesting and surprising to the players. The players make this game a competition with a point system or a fun "ice-breaker" to get to know each other.

How to play:

1) A smartphone is placed on the 3D printed stand with the app opened so that the QR codes can be read .
2) Once a card is scanned, the smartphone will display and read the question out loud for everyone to see and hear.
3) Each player will answer the question, and the next player will scan the next QR card.
4) Repeat 1-3 until the players want to end the game.
