Inspiration

We've been learning about Carbon Footprints and how we should best limit it... Then, we had the idea of creating a carbon footprint analyzer so people can know what their carbon footprint is and people would know how to improve their carbon footprint.

What it does

It analyzes your input and based on your data, shows your carbon footprint and gives you feedback based on your data.

How we built it

We used tkinter and python to create the basic format of the whole program.

Challenges we ran into

There was one such challenge like how we couldn't format the graphs correctly. Fortunately we were able to format it to fit all of our three graphs, especially since our computers are kind of small.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're definitely proud of what we created and the conquering of hardships along the way. Qiwen for example didn't even know what tkinter is but helped write the functions.

What we learned

We learned more about tkinter and how to layout a full "app" with it. This event definitely served as a fruitful part of our coding journey.

What's next for CarbonFootprint Analyzer

We will possibly create a better version where you can input the values instead of having to put csv or json. We will probably also make it prettier haha!
