🚀 About the Project: CarbonCopilot

🌍 Inspiration

CarbonCopilot was born from a simple insight: consultants are always on the move, but carbon tracking tools aren’t built for their fast-paced workflows. We set out to build an AI-powered assistant that not only tracks emissions from transportation—but actively helps reduce them through timely behavioral nudges and seamless automation.

🧠 Behavior-First + AI-Powered

We combined behavioral psychology with cutting-edge AI from Anthropic’s Claude to do what traditional systems can’t: parse unstructured, chaotic real-world data—on the fly.

Forward a travel itinerary as a screenshot, PDF, or even a vague email?
Claude interprets and extracts dates, times, and modes of transit.
Drop a crumpled taxi receipt or blurry image?
Claude reconstructs the intent and validates the emissions impact.

This level of context-aware parsing and summarization would be impossible without Claude’s advanced language and reasoning abilities. It’s the foundation that makes CarbonCopilot truly seamless.

As Harvard Business Review shows, nudges—when timed right—can dramatically shift human behavior. But nudges only work if they’re backed by context-aware intelligence. That’s where Claude shines.
