Inspiration

My inspiration for the earth personification on the website was from katamari damacy, because in the corner of that game they show the characters face at all times and it changes based on the action that the character is doing.

What it does

Calculates your carbon foot print and then gives you a charity and tells you how much you would need to donate to have a neutral foot print

How we built it

I used html, css, and javascript. I did the artwork in microsoft paint.

Challenges we ran into

It's been a while since I've made a website, so I had to relearn a little bit on how it works.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of the artwork displaying how good your carbon foot print is, and implementing that myself.

What we learned

I relearned javascript, and html, and I learned a little bit more on how to work on css.

What's next for carbon12inchprint

Future plans for the website could include embedding donations on the actual page instead of linking to the charities website. This would definitely encourage donations more as it would require the user to take less steps when trying to donate money.
