What it does

calculates the amount of carbon emissions released by a variety of automobiles alongside their distinctive models

How we built it

1) we conducted profound research by finding the most credible websites to attain our information 2) we developed the website using(react , vite and css) and then implementing all the information and research into the website.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges: communication challenges due to different timezones, a problem with fitting in all of the ideas into one concise website according to their correct placements. Making the project seem easier to use an the information simple to understand for a wide variety of audiences

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Accomplishments: utilizing the technologies (react , vite and css) into doing a simpler yet crucial task to reveal the hidden information for all audiences. Gaining more knowledge about the statistics and sources of carbon emissions and spreading awareness around the perils of the topic. Connecting all the dots to one another to form the bigger picture: starting from the carbon emitted by the public sector to attain energy to the carbon emitted by devices used in our every day life.

What we learned

What we learnt: the profoundness of the perils surrounding carbon emissions. Interpreting the conflict of how in our every day life we release humongous amounts of carbon into the atmosphere and how we can reduce it. Targeting the countries with the top carbon emissions globally, logically predicting why and providing valid solutions to reduce the multiple actions that release carbon emission done by the public and by the citizens. Learnt about the interconnectedness between carbon dioxide and all the power generated around us, which makes us more eager to raise awareness surrounding the topic due to our need for energy, the energy that consequently raises the amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere

What is next: calculating the carbon emitted by more sources, other than transportation. Providing a wider option of rare transportation sources utilized by people and calculate their carbon emissions. Calculate the approximate yearly carbon emissions from a variety of sources (home appliances, transportation, approx fossil fuels burned, power plants, electricity generated) in a country
