Carbon footprint calculator

Inspiration

With time, people become more dependent on such habits that tend to increase their carbon footprint unknowingly and the worst part is that they could not keep a track of it. If they could keep a track of their carbon footprint, they could reduce it. This idea and my concern for environment motivates to take on this project

What it does

It calculates the carbon footprint by asking some questions on a person's daily habit such as type of food, the transport facility he/she uses and others explored in the application.

How we built it

It is built with node red platform on the IBM cloud and uses predictive modelling by the use of pre installed data sets and matching the user input with the data to get the most out of it

Challenges we ran into

Collecting data in short span of time and arranging everything so short is one challenge I think of I ran into.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Developing such an application that could tell people analyze their carbon footprint is the accomplishment I am proud of

More functionalities to be added to the carbon footprint calculator so that people could tackle more environmental problems easily and we could make earth more sustainable
