Inspiration
While researching the climate crisis, we were curious to figure out our personal emissions. Our calculator is detailed and includes many factors that other calculators did not have.
What it does
It calculates your carbon emission per year based on many daily and weekly factors, including food you eat, showers you take, miles your drive, and more.
How we built it
We used Python on Visual Studio and learned to implement TKinter, which we didn’t know before.
Challenges we ran into
We struggled to figure out how to work TKinter and take in user input/add images.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the data we researched that let us calculate our carbon emission in kg!
What we learned
Working with a team on a CS project was super fun! We learned that we could familiarize ourself with new programs like TKinter and Figma.
