What problem does your business solve? Carbon Commute Rewards helps reduce the greenhouse gas emissions produced by employees travelling to work. The business encourages employees to choose greener travel options, such as cycling, walking, carpooling, or public transport, by offering rewards and incentives.
Who is your customer? Our customers are businesses that want to encourage employees to use more sustainable ways of travelling to work. We would target larger businesses because they often have sustainability goals and more employees to involvein the reward green travel scheme.
What do you charge? We would charge £49 per month for small businesses and £149 per month for medium-sized businesses. Larger companies receive custom pricing based on their number of employees and any custom features they would want.
Why are you the right person to build this? I noticed the problem by observing how many employees travelled separately, even when they lived in close proximity to eachother. Further I am passionate about technology and sustainability (I am the leader of my school's environmental society), and I want to build a practical solution that changes the behaviour of not just the company but also their employees as well.
