Inspiration

We wanted to create an social change app that addressed issues outside the pandemic. As a result, we decided to create an interactive app to encourage sustainability in a fun way. The initial inspiration was Pokemon Go which led to the development into our gamified carbon footprint calculator. The main idea is that you accumulate points by reducing your carbon footprint through small daily decisions. You can build a green city inside the app using the points you have collected.

What it does

It calculates the user's carbon footprint and allows the user to build their own city by accumulating points through making greener choices.
