Inspiration
Global Warming is awful! While several greenhouse gases are responsible for it, CO2 is a major contributor. We wanted to come up with a solution that helps individuals become more aware of how their dietary habits add to it. We also wanted to provide them better alternatives and a way to make up for the damage.
What it does
- Recommends ecofriendly alternatives to items in your cart, all you have to do is take a picture!
- Shows ecofriendly restaurants in your area
- Earn points by buying ecofriendly products and checking in at ecofriendly restaurants
- Shows how many trees you need to plant to offset your carbon footprint
- Donate to have a tree planted in your name
- Shows trees planted in your name
- Leaderboad to encourage individuals

- Generated a score for each restaurant based on items on their menu
- Calculated trees needed to offset carbon emissions
