Inspiration
I wanted to convey a sense of care and attention to detail, to show the washing process as an art. I like small red cars. My goal was to create a surreal or unusual image where a car is gently held in foam-covered hands
What it does
This project is an AI-generated animated video that artistically portrays a car wash service. It transforms the mundane task of cleaning a car into a surreal and visually captivating experience, highlighting a message of gentle, detailed care
How we built it
I used several AI tools: Freepik for generating the concept art, Higgsfield and Pixverse for animation, and CapCut for the final editing. I created the image generation prompts using ChatGPT and also used a GPT assistant for the animation. I animated the picture, adding movement to the water and foam, and also worked on the lighting and reflections on the car's body in Photoshop
Challenges we ran into
It was difficult to achieve realistic behavior for the foam and water drops. The AI didn't understand my concept at first, and I had to revise the prompts multiple times to get the desired result
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of successfully transforming a static AI-generated image into a dynamic and artistic animation. The final video effectively captures the surreal and caring atmosphere we envisioned, seamlessly blending multiple AI tools into a single, cohesive workflow.
What we learned
This project taught us advanced prompt engineering techniques for controlling dynamic elements like foam and water. We also learned how to create a more effective workflow by combining different AI tools for specific tasks, from concept art and animation to final editing
What's next for Car wash
Next, we plan to expand this concept into a short series of videos, each focusing on a different car and a different aspect of care. We also aim to experiment with AI-generated sound design to create a more immersive and complete sensory experience
