Inspiration
It was made when I was learning about database management system. So the best way to implement the learning is to make a project.
What it does
It is DBMS based project where cars is listed by the Owners and Customers can take the listed cars on rent. Owners of the car can list their car on rent and Customers can rent the car. All the details of owners, customers and vehicles are stored in database.
How we built it
It was built using Java and SQL.
Challenges we ran into
I was knowing Java and SQL separately but not used together. So the main challenge was to use SQL using Java. It is only few lines of query in SQL which if we use along with Java becomes very long.
What's next for Car Rental System
Future plans for this project is to make a website. Currently I am learning web development so as soon as I complete, my plan is to take this project from console based project to a website.
