Our Capsule Culture app is a vital tool that helps users reconnect with their cultural roots. Users are able to share their experiences with their culture through stories, art, traditions, and photos—becoming a part of a larger human story.
With Capsule Culture, we hope to incorporate DNA tracking that allows users to uncover shared ancestry, living connections with others, and the flow of culture across generations.
The Capsule Culture app gives people a tangible connection to their heritage by preserving the past, present, and future.
Through constant migration for seeking a better life, I feel like people of my culture can easily lose much of their roots and traditions, which makes us who we are.
My grandmother passed away when I was very young. I personally wish there was an app like Capsule Culture where my family could have preserved some of her best homemade meals that I would be able to one day recreate and possibly pass down to my future kids.
That’s what inspired our team to create Capsule Culture — a way for us to capture moments, preserve heritage, and reconnect through DNA.
