Inspiration: People's diffuculty in choosing an Instagram caption and the amount of time they put into it
What it does: uses Microsoft Cognitive Services Computer Vision API to determine that is in the image via a caption as well as a tags/hashtags. Via the tabs, we are able to match the image with a corresponding "punny" caption.
How we built it: Flask/mySQL/HTML/CSS/JavaScript Stack
Challenges we ran into: Using the API and designing the webpage
Accomplishments that we're proud of: making lots of components that function individually and giving each person a role that they can work within.
What we learned: How API works as well as learning different aspects of web development and design
What's next for Caption.me: integration of the frontend and backend together to create a cohesive app
