How we built it
Captain Zero was crafted using Flutter for its cross-platform capabilities, allowing us to create a unified and immersive gaming experience across all devices. We integrated the Flame engine to bring dynamic, interactive gameplay elements to life, enhancing the overall engagement. We also used Rive and Lottie for beautiful animations for the game. The game's backend is powered by a Node.js server, ensuring efficient real-time operations and seamless player interactions. To acknowledge players' achievements, we utilized Google Wallet API for digital certificate rewards, making their success shareable and memorable. Finally, hosting on Cloud Render enabled us to deliver "Captain Zero" reliably and at scale, ensuring a smooth experience for gamers everywhere. This technological synergy allowed us to present an educational yet thrilling journey into sustainability.
