🌱 Inspiration In the repetition of daily life, it’s easy to lose touch with parts of ourselves. The pace of routine can quietly erase memories, feelings, and fragments of identity. And then—sometimes unexpectedly—a message from the past arrives. A voice from another version of oneself. Written months ago, forgotten, and now returned like a lighthouse through the fog.

This experience reveals a deeper truth: a message sent through time can reconnect us with who we once were, or who we hoped to become.

Capsule was born from this idea. Not as a tool for scheduling tasks or setting reminders, but as a space to preserve meaning. A way to bridge past, present, and future. To let someone speak not only across distance—but across time.

💡 What it does Capsule allows people to write a message and schedule it for delivery at a future date. These messages—sealed and hidden until the chosen moment—can be addressed to oneself or to another person with a unique identifier.

Examples include:

A promise to one’s future self

A message to a loved one on a birthday or anniversary

A gentle reminder to someone during a difficult season

A piece of advice from a different version of oneself

Two modes are available:

Free: Write, schedule, and receive messages later

Premium: Adds attachments, WhatsApp delivery, longer delays, and guaranteed notifications

The message isn’t sent by an algorithm or social media—only by time, and intent.

⚙️ How we built it Capsule was designed and developed entirely through the support of conversational AIs, including Bolt, ChatGPT, Bing, and Manus. These tools were involved throughout the process: from idea generation and structural planning to copywriting, user experience flow, and iterative problem-solving.
