What it does

Our project aims to help clients be able to maintain their subscriptions to better manage their finances. The app was designed to load a list of the client's subscriptions and then offer a side panel with information as to how much they have spent year to date on the service, the monthly cost, and the amount of money that would be saved if they canceled the subscription. If the client decides that they would like to cancel the service, then they would be able to click on the subscription which would then prompt the user with the option to cancel the service.

How we built it

We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create the web app.

Challenges we ran into

As we were trying to link the JSON file to the app, we struggled to convert the JSON string to object files that we could manipulate.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating our first website. Having the platform to work together in team to design a web app that solves the real world problem of helping people to manage their finances and stay aware of those tricky reoccuring charges from subscriptions.

What we learned

The team came in without any experience in building web applications and were able to follow along with online courses to learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
