The solution is a smart wishlist that remembers the items that captivate you, and is capable of notifying you when your account is ready to take the hit. CapitAlert allows you to make a list or fetches the items directly from Amazon.com's wishlist feature and allows you to set a target balance for each of them. The daily cron jobs on our back-end leverages the Capital One banking API to fetch your account balance as its updated. Once the balance in your account matches the target you'd set for any item, we leverage the Twilio API to text you and nudge you to purchase it (as a reward for your acts of saving)!
