Capital One Learning

Inspiration

One of our biggest inspirations was quite ironically ourselves, after discussing how much we knew about financial terms we found out that pretty much none of us knew much about it. So we decided to address the problem of the lack of financial education amongst young people/students.

What it does

The project integrates a generative AI from google (Gemini) along with an interactive learning app for young people/student who want to learn more about financial topics.

How we built it

We coded the project in python and used Python's Tkinter library for the GUI. But we also used FIGMA and HTML to design how we think the final product will be.

Challenges we ran into

We found really hard to work with API's as we've never used them before. Most of the challenges we ran into were because of our little experience since we barely have started our career.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to present what we believe is a strong and impactful app. We believe that within it's simplicity lies its power to make good use of it and help us achieve our main goal which is to educate younger generations about financial matters.

What we learned

We learned that the most important thing is not winning a price, but to learn and that if we don't try to escape our comfort zone we will never grow out of it.
