Inspiration

Budgeting is hard for many, and one of the biggest challenges people face is their monthly expenses exceeding their income.

What it does

Capital One has an existing ecosystem of mobile apps to help customers and noncustomers better manage their finances. We created an add-on feature to help users create and manage a budget that automatically pulls data from their credit card and cashflow info that already exists in the app.

How we built it

Team UX Designer researched and created an app map, task flows, sketches, wireframes and high-fidelity designs.

Challenges we ran into

Not having a good grasp of Python.

Created a mock prototype.
