Inspiration
In Mexico, 99.8% of companies are small and medium-sized businesses **, generating over **70% of formal employment.
Yet, most small business owners and individuals still struggle with managing finances multiple apps, scattered data, and complex tools.
We wanted to simplify this by creating one single intelligent financial ecosystem.
What it does
CapitalOneAllInOne unifies personal and business finances in one platform.
Users can manage accounts, groups, and investments while interacting with AI financial assistants that automate insights, payments, and reporting.
Whether you're a freelancer, student, or business owner, everything is just a few clicks away.
How we built it
We integrated mock data from the Capital One API (Nessie) for accounts and transactions.
The front end was built with React + TypeScript, focusing on smooth navigation and responsive UI components.
AI features were simulated using contextual prompts and a financial assistant interface.
Challenges we ran into
Designing an intuitive dashboard that worked for both individuals and companies was a challenge.
We also faced issues combining real-time data, analytics, and group interactions while keeping the interface fast and clean, as well as the lack of documentation in the Capital One api (Nassie). And last one, when we want to use the Alpaca Api (stock market) for the stock section, the api just returned 0 or none because the stock market is closed on weekends.
Accomplishments we're proud of
We built a platform that truly feels unified, linking checking accounts, savings, investments, and shared groups into one experience.
The UI is modern, consistent, and adaptable to any type of user.
What’s next
We plan to integrate real-time investment data, automated budgeting, and AI-based financial recommendations and ** automated insights** Our goal is to help every person or business make smarter decisions all in one place.
