💡 Inspiration
I created Capital Bank to build a practical banking management application and apply the concepts I’ve learned in modern web development.
🛠️ How I Built It
The application was built with React.js, JavaScript, Redux Toolkit, Firebase Authentication, and Firestore. I used reusable components, React Router, and a structured state-management approach to organize the application.
🧠 Logic Used
- CRUD operations for customers, transactions, and loans
- Authentication & protected routes for secure access
- Redux Toolkit for global state management
- Conditional rendering based on user and application state
- Firestore logic for storing, retrieving, updating, and deleting data
- Dashboard logic for displaying dynamic banking information
📚 What I Learned
This project improved my understanding of React, Redux, Firebase, Firestore, authentication, routing, CRUD operations, and application data flow.
🚧 Challenges
Managing multiple types of data and connecting the React frontend with Firestore were some of the main challenges. Implementing authentication, protected routes, and keeping the application state synchronized also helped improve my debugging and problem-solving skills.
Overall, Capital Bank helped me turn individual concepts into a functional real-world web application.
