Data is the future, and it's at the center of our project. Our platform connects AI teams with the data they need.
Using our app, people around the world record themselves performing real-world tasks, collaborate, have fun, and get paid.

Our platform allows companies to start with just a goal, like "creating a robot that folds clothes."

Our agent takes it from there and suggests the tasks that need to be recorded.

The tasks can be fine-tuned and adapted. Once everything is ready, our platform calculates an estimated project cost.

Once the company confirms the mission, the tasks are sent to mobile users, who complete the recordings.
With the Capibo platform, researchers can collect the data they need to build all kinds of robots!

We've built a fun and engaging mobile app that makes recording videos for these tasks easy and collaborative.
A voice-based AI agent, powered by Cartesia, helps guide users through the recording process.

We've used multiple technologies to build our project. It's also been an opportunity to try out new providers and services that have helped us build a robust product.

Markus: After buying the domain, configuring the DNS records and connecting it to different providers was quite a challenge. In fact, the subdomains used by our enterprise platform point to different providers. Our API is hosted on Convex, the documentation on Mintlify, and the platform on Cloudflare.
Leo: Coming directly from Europe, this experience has felt like a dream. Being part of Cal Hacks has been an incredible opportunity to meet talented people, work on an exciting project, and experience the energy of one of the world's biggest hackathons firsthand.

Markus: I'm proud to have built a fully functional API for our project. I've been using APIs for years, but I'd never been on the other side of the process and actually built one myself! I'm also very happy with how the agent turned out. It looks professional and makes things easy to use.
Leo: The design of the mobile app is something that makes me really happy. I love how it's user-friendly, playful, and lots of fun. We wanted to make recording videos feel less like a task and more like an enjoyable experience.

Markus: I've learned about many fantastic component libraries that make it easier to create professional interfaces and build agent-based experiences. It was also my first time working with Convex, which is a great alternative to traditional solutions like Supabase.

We believe Capibo has a bright future ahead. As data becomes an increasingly valuable business, our platform makes it easy for companies to request the data they need and fun for people to collect it.
