Developers often face bottlenecks with app store reviews, which can slow down the delivery of important updates and new features. Capgo aims to streamline this process, allowing for immediate deployment and enhanced agility in app development.

What it does

Capgo provides a real-time update system for Capacitor applications, enabling developers to push new features and bug fixes instantly. By bypassing app store approvals, it ensures that updates reach users’ devices without unnecessary delays. Capgo supports both iOS and Android, offering a unified solution for managing app updates across platforms.

How I built it

Capgo was built using modern web technologies and integrated with Capacitor to ensure seamless functionality within the existing framework. The development process involved creating a robust backend system for real-time update deployment, along with a user-friendly interface for managing updates and monitoring performance. Extensive testing was conducted to ensure compatibility with both iOS and Android platforms.

Challenges I ran into

Managing version control and rollback features presented technical difficulties, as did integrating performance analytics. Additionally, ensuring the system’s security and reliability required thorough testing and refinement.
