CanRepay

Inspiration

Being in my last semester, I have had to do alot of research in this topic and I realised just how cumbersome the whole process is. Students should have an all in one place to tackle this debt.

What it does

CanRepay is a mobile application (built with React Native and Expo) designed to simplify the student loan repayment process for Canadian students. Gathering all loan information and then visualisation and having the user see just how significant debt really is.

What's next for CanRepay

We have a lot of exciting plans to expand CanRepay's functionality:

• API Integration: Fetch real-time interest rates from official government sources.
• User Authentication: Implement secure user accounts to save user data. Loan Consolidation Information: Provide resources and information about loan consolidation options.
• Gamification: Incorporate game mechanics like achievements, leaderboards, or progress tracking.
