CaniFriend Context Intelligence
CaniFriend Context Intelligence is an agent-callable context service built as a SharedOS integration for CAIOS/CaniFriend. It gives another agent the minimum relevant context it needs to complete a task while enforcing purpose-bound permissions, deny-by-default access, provenance, and an auditable decision trail.
Why this matters
Agents often need context that lives outside their own session, but giving an agent unrestricted access to a person's or pet's full history creates unnecessary privacy, safety, and governance risk. CaniFriend Context Intelligence turns longitudinal context into a small, task-specific package that is useful to the calling agent without exposing everything behind it.
Arena service: context_pack
Price: 5 Arena credits per call
context_pack accepts a subject, purpose, question, and optional requested scopes. It evaluates the request against a deny-by-default policy, retrieves only approved context, attaches provenance, explicitly reports denied context, and returns an action-ready package.

The hackathon integration uses synthetic Pika demo data only. It does not expose private owner data, unrestricted longitudinal records, database writes, care-plan approval, care completion, or authoritative CAIOS outcome writes.

The integration follows four boundaries:
- deny by default;
- identity and authority are derived from trusted server-side state;
- context is minimum-necessary and read-only for the Arena service;
- every allowed or denied request creates an audit event.
The adapter is intentionally isolated from the CaniFriend core so SharedOS strengthens the R&D architecture without creating vendor lock-in.

Existing product + hackathon work
CaniFriend already has an agentic pet-care workflow and a minimum-necessary context boundary. For this hackathon, the new work is the SharedOS adapter, purpose/grant/audit layer, and the agent-callable context_pack Arena service.
