CandyParty

Inspiration

Whenever I trick or treat, I always end up with really bad candy. I wanted to do something kind of pointless but still fun to make to try to solve this.

What it does

It finds houses near you OR you can post your own house and list it out to the trick or treaters.

How I built it

I used ReactJS and Firebase to architect this website.

Challenges we ran into

I had no clue how to use firebase and how to code in react before this so this really pushed my sanity.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I actually made this all by myself without a youtube video and stuff and even though I had to look up a lot of stuff it helped me learn a LOT!

What we learned

I learnt a ton about reactjs and firebase.

What's next for CandyParty

Imma add a chat functionality, candy leaderboard, and work on a more mobile friendly version.
