Inspiration

Customer service is really hard, and costs a lot of money. What if people could ask questions about canadian tire products without needing to talk to a real person?

What it does

It's a chat bot based on GPT that can be used as a customer service rep. You can ask it about prices and inventory of canadian Tire locations. This chat bot could reduce the amount of customer service reps needed and allows customer service systems to be partially automated.

If this reduces the need for even 1 employee then it pays for itself thousands of times over.

How we built it

It was built with prompt engineering and gpt 3.

Challenges we ran into

Prompt engineering, figuring out what prompt best matched an online application was a little tricky,

What we learned

I learned that gpt can estimate prices. It's pretty neat how accurate the prices it gives are. It could be even more accurate with fine tuning.

What's next for Canadian Tire AI Customer Service

Fine tuning with real CT data, or other entperise data.
