Inspiration

Students across universities face daily issues like broken furniture, poor Wi-Fi, messy classrooms, or unsafe areas — but reporting these problems is often confusing or ineffective. Tickets get lost, ignored, or forgotten with no updates or accountability. We wanted to fix this by giving students a simple way to report issues and track them transparently until resolved.

What it does

CampusFix is a fast, transparent campus issue reporting platform that allows students to:

Report problems with photos and location
Track issue status (New → In Progress → Resolved)
Receive real-time notifications on updates Campus maintenance staff get a dashboard to manage, prioritize, and resolve issues efficiently. It brings accountability and safety to the campus environment.

How we built it

We used Base44 to build:

A student ticket dashboard with dynamic progress tracking
A role-based admin panel for staff to filter and manage complaints
Photo upload and category-based reporting
Real-time notifications on ticket status changes The core goal was to make reporting frictionless and maintenance workflows organized.

Challenges we ran into

Ensuring clear communication between students and staff
Designing transparency without overwhelming maintenance teams
Handling images and issue categorization effectively
Maintaining a smooth experience across roles with different expectations
