I’m a class 12 student applying universities in US without a mentor, trying to navigate both academics and extracurricular activities (ECA) on my own. My academic standing wasn’t the best, and I constantly tried to balance that with ECA, but it always felt like I was falling short. I tried a lot of ECAs, especially related to computer science and social work, but none of them worked out. I faced failure after failure, and at one point, I thought I had lost the race.
On top of that, I couldn’t find a university that matched my current academic standing. There was no one around to help me figure it all out. I wasn’t connected with many people on LinkedIn, didn’t know how to find university counselors, and had no clue about how to get Letters of Recommendation (LOR) or even which universities would be a good fit for me.
I felt completely stuck. But then I started thinking: what if there was a website where students like me could find others applying to similar universities? What if I could connect with alumni from those universities and learn from their experiences—understand what helped them get accepted? What if I could be guided by AI models to help boost my profile, find group activities for ECAs, get LORs, and even reach out to counselors for guidance?
That’s when I realized this wasn’t just a dream—it could be a solution not just for me, but for anyone struggling in the same way. And that’s how this project was born.
This platform is meant to help students like me, who are facing the same challenges in the university application process, and provide them with a space to connect, collaborate, and ultimately find their way to the right university.
