Inspiration
We’ve all been lost in confusing hallways trying to find the right classroom. CampusCat was inspired by that issue, a smart, friendly way to help students find their way around campus with some help.
What it does
CampusCat is an indoor navigation app that guides users through buildings step by step. It shows paths to rooms, restrooms, and study areas — even pointing out things like water fountains or stairs. Think of it like the Street View offered by Google Maps for your campus building's voice.
How we built it
We used Bolt to build the prototype, typed a pseudocode path logic, and used ElevenLabs voice guidance for real-time spoken directions. Runware for the Logo making and took individual picture for each location.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the direction/ Eleven labs voice with API to link with bolt, but we received help from the event organizers.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We built a working voice-guided indoor navigation prototype and designed it to scale across buildings. It’s intuitive, accessible, and genuinely helpful.
What we learned
We learned how people think and move in indoor spaces — and how voice and visuals together make navigation feel natural and human.
