Inspiration
Campus services are often managed through different platforms, forms, and manual processes. Students may need separate systems to find classrooms, order food, book sports facilities, or register for events. We created Campus360 to bring these everyday campus activities into one simple platform.
What it does
Campus360 is a centralized campus web platform with four main features:
- Classrooms: Check room availability and book classrooms for study, projects, or extra classes.
- Canteen: Browse the menu, add items to a cart, place orders, and track order status.
- Sports: Check facility availability and book courts for a selected date and time.
- Events: Discover upcoming college events and register for them.
The goal is to make campus activities easier to access through one platform.
How we built it
We built Campus360 as a modular web application with a centralized dashboard. Each service has its own workflow while maintaining a consistent interface and navigation. We used structured sample campus data to demonstrate the main booking, ordering, and registration flows.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge was managing the scope within the hackathon timeframe. We had to balance four different services while keeping the application simple and functional. We focused on the most important user flows instead of adding unnecessary complexity.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of creating a single platform that combines four different campus services into one user experience. We successfully developed the core workflows for classroom booking, canteen ordering, sports booking, and event registration while keeping the interface simple and accessible.
What we learned
We learned how to break a large problem into smaller modules, design user-friendly workflows, manage booking and availability concepts, and prioritize features while developing under a limited timeline.
What's next for Campus360
Future versions could include real-time classroom availability, college authentication, online payments, notifications, an admin dashboard, QR-based canteen ordering, event passes, analytics, and integration with existing college systems.
Our vision is to make Campus360 a complete digital campus ecosystem where students and faculty can access essential campus services from one platform.
