Inspiration
Financial literacy is a critical yet neglected skill for young adults. We wanted to create an engaging, personalized way to teach it through interactive storytelling, making lessons memorable and fun.
What it does
Campus to Capital (C2C) is an AI-powered game where players experience life as a young adult, making key financial decisions like managing student loans, investing, or starting a business. Each playthrough is unique but imparts essential financial lessons.
How we built it
We used React with Next.js for the frontend, styled with Tailwind CSS. The backend leverages Flask to call OpenAI’s API for generating dynamic stories. Parsed outputs structure stories into settings, choices, and outcomes, which also drive personalized visuals.
